Depicted here is my home: Portland, Oregon. The beautiful Pacific Northwest holds one of my favorite cities in the world. I am currently working as the Business Development Coordinator at 3Sys Corp, where I manage strategic partnerships, conduct industry research, and craft proposals.
Before moving back to Portland, I worked as a doctoral student and Teaching Assistant in the Department of Communication at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. In Spring of 2015 I was a fellow with Learning to See Systems, an interdisciplinary graduate research initiative sponsored by the Graduate College at the University of Illinois.
I received my Masters of Arts degree in Communication from the University of Illinois in 2013. In 2011, I earned my Bachelor of Arts degree from Willamette University in Salem, Oregon with a major in Rhetoric and Media Studies and a minor in Politics. In 2010, I spent the semester studying American politics and government and interning in the United States Senate as part of American University's Washington Semester program in Washington, DC.
